White Fungus Soup With Lotus Seed



Putonghua : xue er lian zi tang sui


Ingredients  ( foe 2 persons )
Dry White Fungus  1 pc           Dry Lotus Seed  10 pcs          Dry Red Jujube  5 pcs
Dry Goji  10-15 pcs           Rock Sugar  50 g

Steps
1) Soak all dry ingredients, remove seed of jujube, cut into 2 harves each
2) If using fresh lotus seed, remove stalks firstly, tear white fungus into small pieces
3) Heat water 600ml, add in lotus seeds, jujube and white fungus, stir well
4) Cook soup 30 minutes in low heat, add in rock sugar
5) Keep stirring and cooking until sugar melted, add in goji, serve


Option One
Add in one boiled egg each person…..


Option Two
Using papaya dices to instead jujube and goji…..


Option Three
Using Chinese Tianjin pear to instead jujube and goji…..


Remark
To cook more 10 minutes, to make soup more chowder, ingredients to be more softly.
Rock sugar to add more or to reduce less, according to sweety taste your like.
