Seaweed Soup With Hog Rib
Putonghua : hai dai pai gu tang
Ingredients ( for 4 persons )
Hog Rib 200 g Fresh Seaweed 200 g Diced Lotus Root 100g Ginger 3 slices
Shaoxing Wine 1 tbsp Salt 2 tbsp Chopped Spring Onion 1 stalk
Steps
1) Cut hog rib into small pieces, then parboil by boiling water, for 10 minutes
2) Heat pot with 1000 ml water in high heat, add hog rib, diced lotus root and ginger
3) Turn in low heat, add seaweed and Shaoxing wine, boil for 30 minutes
4) Add salt and stir well, keep heat for 2 minutes, add chopped spring onion, serve
Remark
tbsp – table spoon
Dry Seaweed is OK, but fresh one is better for taste and heath
