Doufu Soup Chowder With Minced Beef
Putonghua : xi hu neu rou geng
Ingredients ( for 4 persons )
Minced Beef 200 g Doufu 50 g Chinese Celery 2 stalks Spring Onion 1 stalk
Egg White 1 pc
Thickener And Seasoning
Water 3 tbsp Chicken Powder 2 tbsp
Waterchestnut Powder 4 tbsp Salt 1/2 tbsp Sesame Oil 1 tbsp
Steps
1) Chop doufu into very tiny minced dices, chop spring onion and celery into very small pieces
2) Heat water 800ml, add in minced beef while water is boiled, turn into low heat, stir well
3) Add in minced doufu, stir gently to make beef and doufu difuse, then turn into high heat
4) Add in egg white, stir quickly but gently by one chopstick, egg white difuse and tiny
5) Whisk well the thickener and seasoning, add into soup, stir quickly but gently by chopstick
5) Add in chopped sprion onion and celery when soup boiled and slightly sticky, stir well and serve

tbsp – table spoon
Very very simple but taste good chowder !!!!!!!!!!
