Cattle Tendon Soup With Potato & Tomato
Putonghua : xi hong qi neu zan tang
Ingredients ( for 4 persons )
Cattle Tendon 400 g Tomato 100 g Potatos 100 g Salt 2 tbsp Ginger 2 slices
Chopped carot 2 tbsp Sweetcorn 3 tbsp Chopped Spring Onion 1 stalk
Steps
1) Peel potatos, remove seed of tomato, cut materials into dices
2) Parboil cattle tendon by hot water for 1 minute, cut into dices
3) Heat pot with 1 liter of water by high heat, add ginger and cattle tendon
4) Turn into low heat after boiled, cook for 15 minutes, add all dices
5) Cover the lid, cook for more 20-35 minutes in low heat, add salt
6) Pour into large bowl, sprinkle sweetcorn, chopped carot, spring onion, serve

If you don’t eat beef, pork ribs can be insteaded
