Steam Doufu Slices In Hunan Style
Putonghua : guo qiao dou fu
Ingredients
Soft Doufu 1 pc Minced Pork 120 g Spicy Green Chili 2 pc Spicy Red Chili 2 pc
Pickled Mustard Tuber 50 g Green Spring Onion 1 stalk
Sauce
Chicken Powder 1 tbsp Oyster Sauce 1/2 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce 1/2 tbsp Cornflour 1/2 tbsp
Steps
1) Cut doufu into thick slices, place on a flat bottom container to form a bridge
2) Wash pickled mustard tuber, mince and mix with pork, chop spicy chili and spring oion
3) Cover mixed minced pork onto doufu, steam doufu 8 minutes in high heat, bowl up the soup
4) Heat pan in high heat, add in 3 tbsp of doufu soup, stir to cook until boiled
6) Add in sauce to soup, keep stir cooking until slightly sticky, pour onto steamed doufu
7) Heat pan with 4 tbsp of oil, add in chopped spicy chili, stir fry gentlely for 1 minute
8) Pour boiled oil and chili onto steamed doufu, then sprinkle spring onion on, serve
